Men's Tennis Falls To Portland During Day 2

Santa Clara, Calif. - The seventh seeded Gonzaga University men's tennis team dropped a 4-0 decision to sixth seeded University of Portland Saturday during the second day of the West Coast Conference Championships at Santa Clara, Calif. The Pilots (12-8) took the doubles point, winning at two of three spots. At No. 1, Filip Zivkovic and Charlie Yemm posted an 8-3 victory over GU's (6-17) Stefen Feddersen and Zack Radetzky, before GU evened the match as Logan Napolsky and Roman Dojcak posted a 9-7 victory over Joel Kincaid and Bryan Thorp at No. 3. Portland secured the doubles point at No. 2 as Evan Schleining and Domoney defeated Conor Feeney and Cooper Fratt 8-6. In singles play, Portland secured the victory taking victories at No. 1, 2 and 6 spots. At the top spot, Kincaid posted a 6-3, 6-2 victory over Feddersen, while Yemm posted a straight set 6-2, 6-3 victory over Adams at No. 6. At the No. 2 position, Zivkovic defeated Dojcak 6-2, 6-3 as Portland earned the victory. The Bulldogs will return to the courts Sunday as they wrap up play at the WCC Championship as the Bulldogs take on No. 8 Santa Clara University. Portland 4, Gonzaga 0
