Gonzaga Women's Tennis Ends Regular Season

SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University's women's tennis team ended the regular season Tuesday with a 4-3 win over visiting Lewis-Clark State College.

The match was the final tuneup for the Bulldogs prior to this weekend's West Coast Conference Tournament at the University of San Diego. Seeding for the tournament will be determined Thursday.

The Bulldogs got singles victories from Angela Fry at No. 2, Jamie Buterbaugh at No. 4 and Taio Miller at No. 6. The doubles teams of Sarah Ust-Buterbaugh at No. 1 and Leigh Orne-Miller at No. 3 gave Gonzaga the victory to even the Bulldogs' record at 10-10.
