Crew Hosts Western Washington This Saturday

SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University men's and women's crew will host their first home regatta of the 2002 Spring season this Saturday when the Zags host Western Washington in a dual regatta. Racing will start at 9 a.m. at Silver Lake, located outside of Spokane. Both schools will enter boats in the Varsity, Junior Varsity and Novice Eight's category. Last weekend Western Washington's Varsity men's crew finished slightly ahead of the Gonzaga men's varsity crew as both schools made the Cal Cup Grand Final at the San Diego Crew Classic.
Fans can watch all the racing action from the Eastern Washington Bible Camp location on Silver Lake. All boats will be placed in the water at this location and the finish line will also be located at this spot.
