Women's Golf Third In Bronco Fall Classic

KUNA, Idaho - Kelsey Posedel and Mary Kate Morgan each shot an opening-round 76 Monday to tie for seventh and Gonzaga University was in fourth place after the first day of the Bronco Fall Classic women's golf tournament.

The Bulldogs shot a 315 to trail Portland State University (300), the University of Texas-El Paso (310) and host Boise State University (314) heading into Tuesday's final round.

Posedel shot 36-40 and Morgan 38-38 over the Par 72, 6,069 yard Falcon Crest Golf Club course. Erin Picht shot 81, Carrie DeGree 82 and Ali Gibson 88 to round out the Gonzaga scoring. Posedel and Morgan were in a four-way tie for seventh.

Sarah Tiller of Portland State held the individual lead with a 1-under-par 71 for a one-shot lead over Lynsey Myers of Weber State University.
