Women's Crew Signs Spokane Athlete For 2004-05

SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University head women's crew coach Glenn Putyrae has announced the signing of Whitney Patrick to row for the Bulldogs in the 2004-05 school year. Patrick currently attends Spokane's Mt. Spokane High School where she is a two-sport participant in track and basketball.

Patrick participates in the high jump and discus for track, placing second in the high jump in the Mooberry relays in 2002. She has advanced to the district championships each of the past two seasons in the high jump. Patrick also plays a post position for the Mt. Spokane girl's varisty basketball team.
