Women's Golf 10th At Snowbird Tournament

TAMPA, Fla. - Gonzaga University's women's golf team fired a final-round 325 Friday to claim 10th place in the 17th annual Snowbird Intercollegiate Women's Golf Tournament hosted by Northern Illinois University.

The Bulldogs' Kelsey Posedel fired a final-round 80 to finish 39th with a 36-hole total of 161 over the par 72, 5,940-yard Pebblecreek Golf and Country Club course. Kate Siddell shot a 77 on Friday to give her a 36-hole total of 162 for a nine-player logjam in 40th. The 77 was Gonzaga's best round in the tournament.

James Madison University claimed the team title with a 591 to easily outdistance runnerup University of Southern Mississippi at 609.

JMU teammates Carol Green and Jessica Lewis tied for medalist honors with 145 for a 3-stroke victory over Brena Quaranto of Southern Mississippi.
