Women's Tennis Struggles in Final Day of Cougar Classic

PULLMAN, Wash. - The Gonzaga University women's tennis team was unable to place higher than sixth as the 2003 Cougar Classic, hosted by Washington State University, wrapped up tournament play on Saturday.
The Bulldogs faced opponents from University of Wyoming, Montana State University, University of Idaho and the University of Montana in Saturday play.
Senior Jamie Buterbaugh, Kendall Bates, Sirrah Williams and Katie Sanders all placed sixth in their respective positions.
Gonzaga returns to fall play as they host Montana State University on Friday, Oct. 10 at 10 p.m. at Martin Courts.
