Women's Tennis Falls To Idaho State, 5-2

POCATELLO, Idaho - The Gonzaga University women's tennis team was able to pick up two singles victories, but it wasn't enough as the Bengals of Idaho State University defeated the Bulldogs, 5-2 on Saturday.
Senior Jamie Buterbaugh and senior Katie Sanders won the lone matches for Gonzaga, both in straight sets over their Idaho State opponents. Buterbaugh defeated Melanie Kranz (6-2, 6-4) and Sanders grabbed a win over Katherine Zigars (6-3, 6-4).
The Bulldogs return to the court Sunday, Feb. 1 against Utah State University in Logan, Utah at 10 a.m.
