PORTLAND, Ore. - The Gonzaga University women's tennis team ended their weekend in Portland with a 7-0 loss to Northern Arizona University. The Bulldogs dropped to 7-5 on the year with the loss and mark only the second time to have been swept this season.
Jamie Buterbaugh and Angela Fry teamed up for Gonzaga to win the only match in doubles play over Jean Willmann and Susan McClelland, 8-4. Buterbaugh and Fry also won their doubles match in the 7-0 sweep by Portland on Saturday. Northern Arizona won all of its singles matches in straight sets.
The women continue on the road as they travel to Cal State Northridge on Tuesday, March 8 in Northridge, Calif.
