GU's Posedel 11th in WCC Women's Golf

MADERA, Calif. - Kelsey Posedel was the top Gonzaga University performer after 36 holes of the West Coast Conference Women's Golf Tournament on Monday.

Posedel fired a pair of 75's over the par 72, 5,853-yard Riverbend Golf Club layout for a two-round total of 150 for 11th place heading into Tuesday's final 18 holes. Gonzaga's Carrie DeGree is tied for 14th with a 36-hole total of 153.

Carolina Llano of Pepperdine University is the individual leader at 139 for a 2-stroke edge over Kristi Larsen of the University of San Francisco.

Pepperdine leads the team chase with a 574 for a 13-stroke lead over the University of San Francisco. Gonzaga is fourth with a 613.
