SCARSDALE, NY - Gonzaga University's Colin Floyd shot a final-round 75 for a 36-hole total of 149 to tie for sixth at the Tillinghast men's golf tournament at the 6,191-yard, par 70 Fenway Golf Club on Tuesday.
Tournament officials said final results were delayed a day because of a computer glitch late in the day on Tuesday.
Floyd finished in a three-way tie for sixth, while Reyn Tanaka also shot a final-round 75 for a 36-hole total of 153 and a tie for 15th.
The Bulldogs finished with a 619 to finish fourth, one stroke ahead of Iona College. Host St. John's University captured the team title with a 591 for an 11-stroke victory over Villanova University. St. John's also had the medalist as Keegan Bradley fired a 73-71 for a 36-hole total of 144 and a 3-stroke victory over fellow teammates George Zolotas and Kevin Velardo, and Patrick Cibirka of St. Thomas Aquinas.
The Tillinghast is named after A.W. Tillinghast who developed the Fenway Golf Club, as well as the fabled Winged Foot and Baltusrol courses. Fenway Golf Club is located approximately 30 miles from New York City.
Gonzaga has one tournament remaining on the fall slate Nov. 7-8 at the Countrywide Invitational in Simi Valley, Calif.
