SIMI VALLEY, Calif. - Gonzaga University's men's golf team concluded the fall season with a ninth-place finish at the Bill Cullum Invitational on Tuesday.
The Bulldogs and Utah Valley State University finished the 54 holes at 923. The Bulldogs had been tied with host Cal State University-Northridge in ninth after Monday's opening two rounds.
Michael Hansen shot a final round 76 over the 6,771-yard, par 72 Wood Ranch Golf Club to move up to a tie for 33rd for the Bulldogs with a 231 after rounds of 80-75-76. He had the best Bulldog round of Tuesday.
Holy Names University won the team title by 10 strokes over California State University-San Marcos, the victors finishing with a 54-hole total of 879. Holy Names also had the medalist in Charles Chae, who shot 73-66-72 for a 211 and a 4-stroke lead over Kevin Chappell of UCLA.
