Gonzaga Swept At Montana State

BOZEMAN, Mont. - Gonzaga University's Erin Humphrey and Courtney Lau won their No. 1 doubles match on Sunday afternoon against Montana State University, but the Bobcats captured the doubles point by winning No. 2 and No. 3 doubles. MSU then won all six singles matches to sweep the contest 7-0 and drop Gonzaga to 0-3 on the season.
Humphrey and Lau won their match 8-4 defeating Nicole Luetolf and Nuria Lozano.
Lau also played well in singles competition pushing her No. 4 singles match against Katy Clarke to three sets. Clarke was able to pull out the victory 6-4, 4-6, 10-7 to insure the Montana State sweep.
Gonzaga returns to action next Friday when the Bulldogs travel to Washington State University.
