Anderson Falls In Final Day Of Fall Season

Berkeley, Cailf. - Emily Anderson of the Gonzaga University women's tennis team fell in the lone GU match Sunday during the final day of the fall season at the ITA Northwest Regional, hosted by the University of California in Berkeley, Calif.

Anderson fell in the fourth round of the consolations to Sacramento State's Luba Schifris in three sets (7-6 (0), 2-6, 1-0 (8)).

The Gonzaga women's tennis team will return to action when the spring season starts on Jan. 20, 2007 when the Bulldogs travel to Washington State University in Pullman, Wash.
