Women's Tennis Falls On Spring Break Opener

NORTHRIDGE, Calif. - Gonzaga University women's tennis team played its first match in nearly two weeks as the Bulldogs were overmatched by an international roster of Cal State Northridge players. The Matadors won 7-0.
Erica Moldenhauer played a tough second set at No. 4 singles losing 6-0, 6-3. Erin Humphrey and Sydney Lederhouse were tough at No. 2 doubles falling 8-3.
Gonzaga's women fell to 2-9 on the year and will play at Cal State Fullerton on Wednesday afternoon. This was Gonzaga's first action since February 26 when they swept a pair of matches against Lewis-Clark State College and Calgary University. Cal State Northridge improved to 5-5.
