ARROYO GRANDE, Calif. - Gonzaga University's men's golf team stood in 10th place after Thursday's 36 holes of the Cuesta Title/Cal Poly Intercollegiate men's golf tournament.
The Bulldogs shot a 603 to trail ninth-place University of San Francisco by one stroke and lead Cal State Northridge by one stroke heading into Friday's final round.
Cal State Bakersfield holds the 36-hole lead at 570, nine strokes ahead of Loyola Marymount University.
Trevor Loe paced the Bulldogs on Thursday with a 36-hole total of 148 over the 6,761-yard, par 72 Cypress Ridge Golf Course layout to tie for 27th. He had rounds of 73-75. Cal Poly senior Travis Bertoni had a 138 for a two-stroke lead over two others heading into Friday's final round.
