Women's Crew To Host Blue Cup

SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University women's crew will host Western Washington University in the annual Blue Cup Regatta this Saturday morning at Silver Lake. Racing will start at 9:30 a.m. with the women's varsity 8+ Blue Cup race. Racing action will continue through out the morning with the final race set for 11 a.m. with the Varsity 4+. Gonzaga has won the last four Blue Cup races over Western Washington.

Last week Gonzaga's women's varsity crew placed second in the Knecht Cup hosted by Villanova University in Camden, NJ. Gonzaga's other boats last raced at the NCRC Invitational in Vancouver, Wash., on April 1.
