Bulldogs Fall To USF In WCC Second Round

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Gonzaga University women's tennis team was defeated by the University of San Francisco 4-0 in round two of the West Coast Conference Tournament on Saturday morning. The Bulldogs are 0-2 in tournament play.
Erin Humphrey and Sydney Lederhouse won their No. 1 doubles match against Camille Pamart and Joana Laranjinha de Macedo 8-3. The Dons took the other two matches to win the doubles point.
The Bulldogs will battle for seventh place against host Santa Clara University at 9 a.m. Sunday. Santa Clara fell to the University of Portland 4-1 on Saturday.
