Semenza, Buck Finish 1-2 In 1,500

SPOKANE, Wash. - Gonzaga University seniors Jill Semenza and Emily Buck finished 1-2, respectively, in the 1,500 meters Saturday at the Duane Hartman Invitational at Spokane Falls Community College as the duo concluded their Bulldog careers.

Semenza captured her final race in a season-best 4:46.28 while Buck was second with a season best 4:49.58.

On the men's side, senior Eric Mendoza also competed in his last race, finishing sixth in the 800 meters in a season-best 2:01.45.

Freshman Ken Santman was fifth in the 1,500 in a season-best 4:06.41.
