Darkness Suspends Desert Classic Play

GOODYEAR, Ariz. - Play was suspended because of darkness Monday during the first-round of the Bobcat Desert Classic women's golf tournament being played at Pine Valley Golf Club.

Several golfers were still on the course was play was halted, with the completion of the first round and the playing of the second round to take place on Tuesday. The 54-hole, three-day tourney ends Wednesday.

The tournament is being hosted by Montana State University.
