Bulldogs Close Out Play at the SMC Classic

MORAGA, Calif. - The Gonzaga University women's tennis team wrapped up play at the Saint Mary's Classic in Moraga, Calif. Sunday.
After posting two wins in Saturday's White Singles Consolation bracket, sophomore Danielle Farmer dropped her semifinal match against the University of Pacific's Kateryna Nezhura 6-3, 6-1. Sophomore Clare Dodge finished the weekend with a 3-2 record after dropping her Singles Round Robin match against Lais Ogata from the University of Nevada 6-2, 6-1.
The Bulldogs did not have a player compete in a final's match for the first time this fall. Three Zags have reached their respective bracket finals in the previous two tournaments.
Gonzaga closes out its fall schedule with the ITA Regionals in Palo Alto, Calif. Oct. 17-20.
