Bulldogs Suffer Defeat To Saint Mary's

MORAGA, Calif. - The Gonzaga University women's tennis team suffered a 6-0 defeat to Saint Mary's College in a West Coast Conference match in Moraga, Calif. Sunday afternoon.
The Bulldogs (9-7, 1-2 WCC) were unable to come away with the doubles point but played the Gaels tough in each match as the sophomore pairing of Danielle Farmer and Rika Mehndiratta posted an 8-6 win at number two doubles. Freshman Kristina Zauere battled in her number three singles match but eventually lost for only fourth time this season.
Gonzaga will head to California's bay area for WCC matches against Santa Clara University and the University of San Francisco.
