Suffecool, Howe Tie For 11th At Wyoming Cowgirl Classic

CHANDLER, Ariz. - Sage Suffecool and Jessica Howe tied for 11th to help Gonzaga University climb into a tie for fourth with UC Riverside Tuesday during the final round of the University of Wyoming Cowgirl Classic at Ocotillo Golf Resort.
Howe fired a final-round 75 while Suffecool shot a 78 as both finished at 213 over the 6,108-yard par 72 layout. Stephanie Corey shot a 75 to finish tied for 17th.
Kelly Gillum of Montana State University and Bethany Leclair of Northern Arizona University finished tied for first at 222, Gillum taking medalist honors by virtual of a scorecard playoff.
The Bulldogs and UCR finished at 936, NAU winning the team title at 908 for a 1-stroke victory over Fresno State University.
The tourney was the finale tune-up for the Bulldogs prior to the West Coast Conference Championship next week.
