Men's Golf Receives National Academic Award From Coaches

NORMAN, Okla. - Gonzaga University's men's golf team is one of 10 NCAA Division I programs to receive President's Special Recognition status for a team GPA of 3.5 or better on the All-Academic Team awards announced by the Golf Coaches Association of America.
The Bulldogs were also one of 113 teams in Division I, II, III, NAIA and the junior college ranks to receive All-America Team honors for a team GPA of 3.0 or better.
Brown, Butler, DePaul, Detroit Mercy, Duke, East Tennessee State, Mercer, Seton Hall and Wofford joined the Bulldogs as President's Special Recognition recipients.
To be eligible for GCAA All-Academic Team honors a college or university must submit the grade points earned and hours attempted for each player on its official squad list for the aca-demic year.
