Women's Tennis Picked Eighth In WCC Preseason Poll

SAN BRUNO, Calif. - The Gonzaga University women's tennis team was tabbed eighth in the West Coast Conference Preseason Poll Tuesday, as voted by the conference coaches. The Bulldogs received a total of nine points in the poll.
No. 40 Saint Mary's College was picked to win the WCC title this season, receiving 47 total points and five first place votes. No. 50 Pepperdine University garnered 45 total points and three first place votes and was tabbed as the runner-up.
The Bulldogs open WCC play against Santa Clara University on the campus of Washington State University Saturday at 3 p.m.
