Krzyzanowski Ties For 15th At Nebraska Amateur

OMAHA, Neb. - Gonzaga University incoming freshman Erik Krzyzanowski of Scottsbluff, Neb., tied for 15th at the 103rd Nebraska Amateur Men's Golf Championship.
Krzyzanowksi had rounds of 76-74-75-76 for a 72-hle score of 301 over the 7,063-yard, par 72 Shadow Ridge Country Club layout.
Andy Sajevic of Fremont overcame a four shot deficit to claim his second straight state amateur championship, his 3-under par 69 moving him to 2-over par for the championship, two shots better than 2002 champion Ryan Nietfeldt of Omaha and 1989 champion John Sajevic of Fremont, Andy's father. Tad Leistico of Omaha, the 54-hole leader, shot 77 and finished fourth at 6-over par.
