Connolly Ties For 26th In Rolex Tourney

SUNRIVER, Ore. - Gonzaga University incoming freshman Brendan Connolly finished tied for 26th at the 34th annual Rolex Tournament of Champions last week on the Crosswater Course of Sunriver Resort.
Connolly, of Castle Rock, Colo., had rounds of 77-74-75-73 for a 72-hole total of 299 over the 7,542-yard, par 72 layout.
Shun Yat Hak of Lake Mary, Fla., captured the tournament at 282 with rounds of 71-70-71-70.
The Rolex Tournament of Champions was a 72-hole stroke play event conducted by the American Junior Golf Association at Sunriver Resort - Crosswater Course in Sunriver, Ore. The tournament field featured 77 boys and 66 girls from 31 states, Argentina, Canada, China, Colombia, Hong Kong, Japan, Mexico, Martinique, the Philippines, South Korea, Sweden, Taiwan and Thailand.
