Zags At Highly Competitive Clemson Invitational This Weekend

SPOKANE, Wash. -
ON TAP: The Gonzaga University women's rowing team heads east for the highly competitive Clemson Invitational this weekend. The Clemson Invitational is set for Saturday and Sunday on Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C.
ABOUT THE CLEMSON INVITATIONAL: The second-annual Clemson Invitational is set for April 19-20 on Lake Hartwell in Clemson, S.C. The invitational will feature 21 teams, including host Clemson University who is ranked 18th in the latest CRCA poll. The field features eight top-20 teams along with seven others that received votes in the last CRCA poll. Gonzaga is one of the schools receiving votes, garnering seven this week.
HEAD COACH GLENN PUTYRAE'S THOUGHTS ON THE CLEMSON INVITATIONAL: "The Clemson Invitational presents a great challenge and great opportunity for all of our crews. The field is deep and strong. We are looking forward to competing and testing our speed against a NCAA Championship caliber field."
