Mills Receives Second Straight Runner of the Month Honor

SAN BRUNO, Calif. â€" Gonzaga women's cross country's Shelby Mills was named the West Coast Conference Runner of the Month for November Wednesday.
Mills was tabbed the conference's Runner of the Month in October as well. She had a senior season to remember. With her seventh place finish at NCAA West Regionals, the WCC Runner of the Year led the Gonzaga women to their first team appearance at the NCAA National Championships in program history.
The finish earned her All-Region honors and led the Zags to their best team finish at regionals in the last 16 years. At nationals Mills once again paced the Zag women, finishing 82nd individually and helping secure Gonzaga a top 25 spot in the nation.
