"We're excited to have Brittney joining us in the fall of 2019," Stewart said. "From the get go, Brittney has been someone we felt would add a lot to our program. She's got tremendous upside, splitting time between track and cross country in the spring and fall, along with playing basketball in the summer and winter. She's a competitive young woman, an exceptional student and really embraced what our message was for the future of our team. She wanted to have an impact on a program and we believe she'll do that at Gonzaga."

Hansen is the first recruit of the 2019 class, and other releases will be released as the class grows.
