SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga women's golfer Quynn Duong added a top-five finish to her year at the highly-competitive Joanne Winter Arizona Silver Belle Championship at the end of December.
Duong, a sophomore at GU, placed fifth overall in the tournament held at the Long Bow Golf Club in Mesa, Arizona. She placed second in the 19-23 age bracket.
Playing the Par-71 course at Long Bow, Duong closed well, shooting a final round one-under 70 to finish the 54-hole tournament at one-over. She posted back-to-back scores of 72 in the first two rounds.
