"I plan on pursuing my lifelong dream of becoming a professional basketball. As for right now, I am not sure where I will be playing due to the Coronavirus situation, but I can’t wait to see what God has in store for me through this entire process. I also plan on starting my own podcast to help others understand the journey of those who have overcome adversity in their career and how it made them better going through it.
Attending Gonzaga meant a lot for me, even in the short amount of time that I was there. It was an amazing, unforgettable experience that has allowed me to come off my severe injury and play for one of the best college basketball programs in the country. I thank God every day for blessing me with that opportunity because not too many people get the chance to do that. I want to acknowledge the GU fans especially. The first day I stepped foot in Spokane I could feel the genuine love and support. As for the basketball season I am so proud of every single individual that was a part of our team’s success and those who were around us that made the year so special. I really appreciate the memories and relationships that I was able build on and off the court at GU and I am just so proud and blessed to be able to call myself a Zag for life.
Unfortunately, our season was cut short due to the COVID-19, It was so upsetting to see all of our hard work from the summer leading up to our incredible performance by beating St. Mary’s to win the championship game in the WCC tournament. Moments like those are the reason why I chose Gonzaga. GU has always been a winning program and I was just so happy I could be that kid from Dallas, Texas, coming to continue the legacy.
Lastly to all my teammates, coaches, fans and supporters, I want to say thank you and I love you guys. Go Zags"
