
Gonzaga Places Fourth at Pat Lesser-Harbottle

Kim tied for 17th on leaderboard
LAKEWOOD, Wash. — Gonzaga women's golf placed fourth at the Pat Lesser-Harbottle SeattleU Invitational at the Tacoma Country and Golf Club.
The Zags shot an 11-over (299) final round and finished 40-over (904) for the tournament. Their 170 total pars were tied for the most among the 20-team field.
Gonzaga junior Cassie Kim completed her final round at two-under (70), climbing 32 spots on the individual leaderboard and finished tied for 17th at nine-over (225). She made five birdies and 11 pars on the day.
Mary Scott Wolfe shot six-over par (78) in the final round. Her 11 pars on Tuesday brought her total to 40 for the tournament, which led the 111-player field. She finished in a tie at 21st with a total score of 226 (+10).
Quynn Duong made 13 pars and three birdies for an even score of 72 on the day. She completed the tournament at 11-over (227) and in a tie for 26th place.
Freshman Chaewon Baek tied for 34th, totaling a score of 229 (+13) for the tournament. She made 12 pars in the final round, shooting eight-over (80). Ivanna Montemayor (+28, 244) finished in a tie at 94th.
Tournament host Seattle University won the team title at 21-over (885), led by Rivekka Jumagulova and Shayna Lu. Jumagulova finished first on the individual leaderboard at five-under (211), four strokes ahead of California Baptist's Jocelyn Chee (-1, 215).
Gonzaga will head to Boulder City, Nev., for their final event of the fall season. The Clash at Boulder Creek, hosted by Northern Arizona University, is a three-day event on October 24-26. Live scoring from Boulder Creek Golf Club will be available on GoZags.com.
