
Duong in First Place Entering Final Round

Zags in second place as a team following first two rounds
BOULDER CITY, Nevada — Gonzaga women's golfer Quynn Duong is in first place after the first two rounds at the Jackrabbit Invitational at the Boulder Creek Golf Club hosted by South Dakota State.
After finishing tied for fifth at the conclusion of the first round, Duong shot a 73 (+1) in the second to finish at the top of the leaderboard for the day. After both rounds, the junior is four-over (148). Duong is tied for second in the tournament for pars made after making 25 on the day. Duong also leads the Bulldogs in Par 3, Par 4, and Par 5 scoring averages, ranking amongst the best in the tournament in each category.
Both Cassie Kim and Mary Scott Wolffe are tied for ninth after two rounds. After both scoring a 78 (+6) in the first round, Kim and Wolfe followed up with a 76 (+4) in the second round to shoot a 154 (+10) on Monday. Kim averaged +2 (5.25) on Par 5 holes, while Wolffe averaged + 2 (4.10) on Par 4 holes.
Jessica Mangrobang is tied for 29th after totaling 159 (+15) after two. The fifth-year golfer is tied for second in the tournament for birdies made after making six in two rounds.
Federica Torre is tied for 21st after two rounds, finishing the day with a 157 (+13).
The Gonzaga women's golf team is in second place with Hawaii after finishing 34-over (610) after two rounds. The Bulldogs are four points behind host South Dakota State who finished the day in first place who carded a 606 (+30).
