
Women’s Golf Wins Tournament Title in Tacoma

Zags place first at the Pat Lesser- Harbottle SeattleU Invitational
TACOMA, Wash. – The Gonzaga women's golf team won the Pat Lesser- Harbottle SeattleU Invitational tournament title at the Tacoma Country Club Tuesday.
The Zags finished the event eight-over with a team total of 872. Weber State was second at nine-over (873). This was GU's first team title in an event since winning the Hobble Creek Classic to open the 2021-22 season.
The Bulldogs were led by sixth-place finishes from Cassie Kim and Chaewon Baek. Both Zags were one-over (217) in the tournament. Kim opened the event with a 70 (-2) in the first round, before Baek carded a 70 in her second round.
Quynn Duong and Grace Lee tied for 13th at three-over (219). Duong was two-under (70) in Round 2, and Lee matched the score in the third round. Lee's final round featured four birdies and 12 pars.
Taylor Mularski finished 21-over (237) in a tie for 95th.
Gonzaga remained atop the team leaderboard at the conclusion of each of the three rounds. The Zags were three-over (291) following the first round, before matching a season-best one-over (289) second round. GU finished four-over (292) Tuesday.
Nevada's Victoria Gailey took medalist honors. She won a tiebreaker after tying Cal State Fullerton's Davina Xanh and Hailey Loh of California Baptist at three-under (213).
