Emily Robertson Joins Women's Tennis

SPOKANE, Wash. ­­- Head Coach Natalie Pluskota-Hamberg announced the addition of Emily Robertson.

Robertson is a five-star recruit committed to Gonzaga for the Fall of 2023.
 
"We are super excited to welcome Emily to Gonzaga," Pluskota-Hamberg said. "She is going to play a very important role on our team, and we are eager to start working with her here at GU."
 
Robertson has a Junior ITF career-high ranking of No. 589 and is currently ranked No. 62 nationally. In 2022 at the USTA Level 2 Tournament in Orlando, Fla., Robertson was a singles finalist, doubles champion, and a sportsmanship recipient. She also had a doubles semifinal run at the J3 Cancun, Mexico ITF Tournament in March of 2022, as well as, a singles semifinal run at the J3 San Jose, Costa Rica ITF Tournament in April 2022.
 
"I am so beyond excited to be attending Gonzaga University in the fall and I cannot wait to be a part of the women's tennis team!" Robertson said. "It has been a dream of mine since I was little to play Division I tennis, and Gonzaga feels like a perfect fit. The coaches, staff, and players were all extremely kind to me while I visited and made me feel like a part of their family right away! I am so thankful for this opportunity, and I can't wait to see what the future holds! GO ZAGS!!!"
