Cassie Kim tied for 22
nd at the Olympic Club Invitational. It was the season-opening event for the Zags.
Kim was two-over (73) in the final round and finished six-over (219) in the tournament. She made three birdies and 10 pars in Round 3.
As a team, the Bulldogs moved up a spot on the leaderboard on Day 2 and finished ninth. GU was 35-over (887) in the event, after totaling a 292 (+8) in the final round.
In her first collegiate event, freshman
Grace Lee tied for 31
st at nine-over (222). She was four-over (75) in the third round.
Quynn Duong tied for 41
st at 11-over (224). She carded a 73 (+2) in the third round.
Chaewon Baek climbed eight spots on the leaderboard and finished in 44
th at +12 (225). The sophomore was even-par (71) in the final round. Duong and Baek both made 14 pars in Round 3.
Taylor Mularski was 53
rd at 22-over (235).
Kajsa Arwefjall led San Jose State to the team title. She took medalist honors at 11-under (202). She was seven-under (64) in the final round. The Spartans climbed three spots as a team after a 274 (-10) third round. SJSU ended at four-under (848).
