Gonzaga men's and women's track concluded their indoor season at the Whitworth Invitational at The Podium with a bevy of new personal bests on Saturday while a GU women's contingent wrapped up the Husky Classic at Dempsey Indoor in Seattle with four more All-Time Top 10 finishes.

A day after breaking the program record in the 5,000m at Dempsey, Caramia Mestler led the way in the mile with a 4:51 finish that nudged out Anna Grabowski's 4:53.71 finish last weekend at The Podium for fourth-fastest in program history. Alicia Anderson (63rd, 4:52.08) finished just behind her with Sadie Tuckwood (4:56.92) and Kate Donaldson (4:58.59) both putting down personal bests that enter the record books at No. 7 and No. 10, respectively.

Also at Desmpey, Ellie Armbruster shaved .32 seconds off her program record in the 400m for her highest-placing at a collegiate meet, finishing third overall. This is the fourth time this season that Armbruster has improved the record she first set in 2022.

Meanwhile at The Podium, 10 different Zag runners put down personal bests, while 14 placed among the overall Top 10 in their respective events.

Carp Mukai placed second in the Men's Mile with a personal best (4:11.94) to lead four Zags in the Top 10, with Jacob Alfonso (Fourth, 4:14.71), Caleb Richardson (ninth, 4:20.37) and Quentin Rickey (10th, 4:20.75) behind.

GU took four of the top five finishes in the Women's Mile — all four personal bests — with freshman Anna Lanigan (5:04.57) taking first overall and Ireland Robertson (second, 5:05.05), Jorun Downing (third, 5:06.33) and Jasmine Nguyen (fifth, 5:11.50) following.

Ansel Tucker (8:23.37) finished third in the Men's 3,000m to lead four Zags, with Mason Kissell (fourth, 8:27.06), Will Thorsett (sixth, 8:29.11) and Paul Talens (seventh, 8:29.77) also cracking the Top 10 along the way. Tucker and Thorsett both recorded PR's.
