Three Zags played as individuals in event

FRESNO, Calif. – Gonzaga's Carys Baek tied for 34^th at the Fresno State Classic at the Copper River Country Club Tuesday. She finished seven-over (223) in the event.

Baek, along with Grace Lee and Esther Yoo, played in the tournament as individuals and represented the Bulldogs.

Baek opened the event with a 72 (E) in the first round, before a 73 (+1) in Round 2, and a 78 (+6) in the final round. She made a team-high 37 pars and was six-over (4.20) on the course's Par-4 holes. The junior made two birdies and 14 pars in the first round.

Lee tied for 79^th at 16-over (232). She started the tournament with a 79 (+7) in Round 1, before carding a 75 (+3) in the second round, and a 78 (+6) in Round 3. Yoo tied for 108^th at 28-over (244).

Colorado State's Andrea Bergsdottir took medalist honors at four-under (212). The Rams placed first as a team at three-over (867).

Gonzaga is at the Bobcat Desert Classic hosted by Montana State April 8-10. The three-day event is at the Estrella Golf Club in Goodyear, Ariz. Live scoring will be available on GoZags.com.
