Men's Rowing to Compete at San Diego Crew Classic

"San Diego Crew Classic is always a fun race," head coach Dan Gehn said. "We haven't had a ton of water time so this is another opportunity to get race experience against some good crews."
Races take place on Saturday and Sunday with the 1V8 going first on Saturday at 10:06 a.m. The 2V8 follows at 11:02 a.m. while the freshman boat competes at 11:10 a..
"One highlight is we will be boating a Novice 8 for the first in about 10-12 years," Gehn added. "There are some good guys in there and it will give them a chance shine as a group."
On Sunday, races begin at 9:58 a.m. for the varsity boat while the 2V8 competes at 10:22 a.m. The freshmen crew then races at 10:38 a.m.
