Zag moves to final stage of qualifying for U.S. Open
SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga men's golfer Guillermo Polo Bodart advanced out of U.S. Open local qualifying recently at the Somersett Golf & Country Club in Reno, Nev.
The Argentinian shot a five-under 66 to claim second place and earned one of three spots that moved on to final qualifying. He made seven birdies and nine pars during his round.
Polo Bodart has a chance to continue his path to this year's U.S. Open at Pinehurst Resort & Country Club from June 13-16. Final qualifying takes place at 13 sites throughout the U.S. on May 20 and June 3.
