SPOKANE, Wash. – The NCAA Division I Women's Rowing Committee has released the full list of 22 teams that will compete across three events in the 2024 NCAA Division I Women's Rowing Championships.
The championship will be held May 31-June 2 at East Fork/Harsha Lake in Bethel, Ohio with Marietta College, Discover Clermont and Visit Cincy serving as hosts.
The team championship is composed of 22 teams. Eleven conferences were awarded automatic qualification, and the remaining eleven slots were filled with at-large selections to complete the championship field. Teams qualifying for the championship are required to field two boats of eight rowers and one boat of four rowers. For the I Eights, II Eights and Fours, all 22 boats will be seeded into four heats.
The NCAA announced today during the selection show that Gonzaga's varsity eight boat is seeded No. 17 while the 2V8 crew is No. 17. The 1V4 boat is also seeded No. 16. The first heat of races will begin on Friday, May 31 beginning at 6:48 a.m. Pacific Time.

The Zags are one of 22 teams in the field. Eleven conferences were awarded automatic qualification and the remaining 11 slots were filled with at-large selections to complete the championship field. Gonzaga qualified for the ninth-straight season after winning the West Coast Conference last week.
At the last NCAA Rowing Championships in 2023, Gonzaga finished 19th overall as a team. That year, the Varsity Eight and Second Varsity Eight placed 19th overall. The Varsity Four crew placed 18th.
Gonzaga is fresh off its ninth-straight WCC title and 22nd championship in program history. They finished with 40 total points to secure the title.
