Women’s Track and Field Releases Outdoor Schedule

SPOKANE, Wash- Gonzaga Women's Track and Field released their 2025 Outdoor Track & Field schedule, including nine meets before taking on the NCAA Championships.

The Zags will run in four meets in Spokane, including three of the first four meets of the year. GU will run in the Sam Adams Classic, Whitworth Peace Meet and Jeff Rahn Classic, which will also be hosted by Whitworth. The Zags will send a squad on the road to the Stanford Invite in the third meet of the year.

Gonzaga Track & Field will run in the Drake Relays on April 22nd to 25th, taking part in one of the most prestigious meets in Track & Field. Rosina Machu will look to defend last year's Drake Relays title in the 5000 meters. The Zags will also compete across the northwest in the week leading up to the relays, taking on the Oregon Open on April 17 before traveling with a split squad to Boise to take on the Ed Jacoby Invite. After taking on two last chance meets to close the season, attention will turn to the NCAA West Regional and National Championships in the last week of May and first two weeks of June. 

The 2025 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field West Regional Championship will take be hosted in Fayetteville, Arkansas from May 27th to May 30th. The top 12 runners in every event advance to the NCAA National Outdoor Track & Field Championships, hosted in Eugene, Oregon on June 10th through 13th
