SEATTLE, Wash. – Gonzaga women's tennis opened play at the ITA Sectional Championships with an impressive doubles victory, as Emily Robertson and Ella Nielsen defeated UCLA's Kate Fakih and Ahmani Guichard, 6-3, 6-2, on Friday.

The Bulldog duo played sharp and composed tennis throughout the match, securing a strong win over one of the tournament's top-seeded pairs to advance in the main draw.

Gonzaga continues competition throughout the weekend in Seattle, hosted by the University of Washington.
