SAN BRUNO, Calif. – Three Gonzaga women's rowers were named to the 2025 WCC Rowing Preseason Team while the Zags were chosen to finish second in the conference. Ella Beck, Camille Ruhlin-Hicks and Amanda Triebensee were chosen for preseason honors.
The coaches poll was selected solely by a vote of the conference's seven head coaches. Coaches cannot vote for their own teams.
The Bulldogs accumulated 57 points to take second and received three first-place votes. Oregon State was voted first by just one more point than Gonzaga and four first-place votes. Washington State took third with two first-place votes and 55 points. San Diego, Sacramento Atate, Saint Mary's, Portland, Creighton and Santa Clara, followed the top three.
Since 2012, the Zags have been selected first or second in every single WCC preseason poll. Last season, Gonzaga claimed its 22nd overall WCC Rowing Championship and ninth consecutive Conference title.
The All-WCC Preseason Rowing Team is made up of 22 student-athletes from the WCC's nine member institutions. This is the third-straight season that Camille Ruhlin-Hicks has been given preseason WCC honors. This marks the second-straight season for Ella Beck and Amanda Triebensee.
