Men's Rowing Competes at Schuylkill Invite This Saturday

The race takes place in Philadelphia
The Gonzaga men's rowing team will head East this weekend to compete in the Schuylkill Invitational in Philadelphia. This is the second weekend of Spring races for the crew, who was ranked No. 24 in the polls this week after opening the season at the San Diego Crew Classic on March 29-30.
"The guys are really looking forward to racing on the East Coast," head coach Dan Gehn said. "This is great cross racing for us against other ranked teams. Most of these teams we wouldn't see until the IRA National Championship so this is high value competition for us."
The Varsity 8 will compete first against Drexel and Holy Cross at 7:30 a.m. PT, followed by the 2V8 at 8:10 a.m. The next race will take place at 11:20 a.m. for the Varity 8 against Temple and Hobart. The 2V8 crew will compete again at Noon.
