SPOKANE, Wash. – The Gonzaga women's track team wrapped their final Spokane meet of the 2024-25 season on Wednesday, racing at the Whitworth Last Chance Meet on Boppell Track.
A parade of Bulldogs opened the afternoon in the 1500-meters, led by facility record-holder
Rosina Machu. Leading the field wire-to-wire, Machu finished in 4:13.86, breaking the GU program and Boppell Track facility record along the way.

Ireland Robertson (4:33.10) finished on the podium behind Machu.
In the 400-meters,
Ashlinn Aguayo crossed in 58.70 to place first and move up to No. 2 all time in program history.
Presley Smith (59.73) placed second and narrowly missed a personal best.
Ellie Armbruster set the second Boppell Track record of the afternoon, winning the 800-meters in 2:06.41. The time marks a program and facility record, improving her own record she set earlier this spring at Stanford. Maria Taggi Padro placed third in a PR 2:19.47.

Presley Smith,
Ellie Armbruster,
Greta Dani, and
Ashlinn Aguayo shattered the previous program best of 4:01.92 (2022).
