
Lee Takes Medalist Honors at Kalispel Invitational

Zags place second as a team
SPOKANE, Wash. – Gonzaga women's golfer Grace Lee won the 2025 Kalispel Invitational title at Kalispel Country Club Tuesday. The two-day event was hosted by Eastern Washington.
Lee claimed her third career medalist finish at six-under (210). She held off Santa Clara's Kelsey Kim, who had a 54-hole total of 212 (-4). Lee opened the event with a 67 (-5), before carding a 71 (-1) in Round 2, and finished even-par (72) in the final round.
Lee made six birdies and 11 pars in the first round, and her 41 pars were the most in the 83-golfer field. The senior was a tournament-best three-under (4.80) on the course's Par-5 holes, and two-under (3.91) on Par-4 holes, which ranked second.
Lee last placed first at the Dr. Donnis Thompson Invitational last March in Hawaii. She broke the 54-hole program record at her first title, totaling 200 at the 2023 Coeur d'Alene Collegiate Invitational.
In her second event as a Bulldog, Brenna Preap had her second Top-10 finish, placing fourth Tuesday at even-par (216). The Stockton, Calif., native, climbed five spots in the final round carding a 69 (-3). She played bogey-free golf in Round 3, with three birdies and 15 pars. Her 10 birdies in the tournament were the second-most in the field.
As a team, GU was second at 14-over (878). Santa Clara was first at four-over (868). The Bulldogs were first after totaling 288 (E) in Round 1. Gonzaga's 181 pars were the most in the tournament, and its one-over (3.01) total on Par-3 holes ranked first.
Mariko Yonemura placed 29th at 10-over (226). Taylor Mularski (+14, 230) and Esther Yoo (+15, 231) finished 43rd and 48th.
Playing as individuals, Michelle Mogi was nine-over (225) in 25th, Vanessa Zhang was 19-over (235) in 59th, and Audrey Park was 32-over (248) in 75th.
