Women's Rowing Win the Fawley Cup at Washington State

This is the second-straight year that the Zags have won the Fawley Cup

The Gonzaga Bulldogs women's rowing captured the Fawley Cup for the second consecutive season, and the fifth time in program history, with a strong showing over the Washington State Cougars women's rowing on the Snake River.

Gonzaga set the tone in the 1V8, edging Washington State with a time of 7:20.88 to the Cougars' 7:23.04. In the 2V8, Washington State responded with a 7:12.87 finish, ahead of Gonzaga's 7:25.87.

The Zags reclaimed momentum in the 1V4, with an edge over Washington State, 8:07.15 to 8:09.51. Gonzaga followed with a decisive win in the 2V4, crossing in 8:16.10 while Washington State finished in 8:31.24.

Washington State picked up another win in the 3V8, posting a 7:35.83 to Gonzaga's 7:48.96. The Bulldogs closed the day in dominant fashion in the 4V8, finishing in 7:50.15 ahead of Washington State's 8:20.62.
