The Zags hit the road next weekend
The energy began early for the Zags in doubles play. Rose Hayes and Sveva Zerpelloni brought the heat in doubles play, taking the win 6-4. Back on court one is the fierce duo of Emily Robertson and Ella Nielsen, who snagged the doubles point for the Zags, 7-5.
The momentum continued into singles play with Rose Hayes sweeping the court against Seattle U's Daria Nazarenko, 6-2 and 6-0. Elizabeth Tindera also had a good lead in singles play, claiming the first set 6-0; Seattle U then forfeited during the second set. Sveva Zerpelloni took the last point for the Bulldogs against Natalia Michita, 6-2 and 6-3.
The Bulldogs will be heading down to California, where they will play against Santa Clara on April 17th.
